The Huma is the Bird of Fortune and Paradise; the most auspicious bird in Persian myth. Believed to never land, the Golden Zari symbolizes the ultimate wealth and blessing it bestows.
This jacket is crafted using the traditional Jamdani weaving technique on a breathable black fabric blend of fine cotton and half silk. The jacket features distinct patterns woven in Copper/Orange and Golden Zari. The sleeves are detailed with a stripe-like Koral geometric motif. The front is patterned with scattered 'Chita-Chita' and diamond motifs. The back is a showcase of Jamdani artistry, where the top yoke and bottom band feature the 'Tabij' motif, flanking a complex central vertical design composed of geometric shapes and diagonal lines.
